The owner of Sacramento’s newest high rise has reached an agreement with Stoel Rives LLP for a long-term lease of the 16th floor, making good on their promise to make the Bank of the West Tower a leading destination for lawyers.

The third-tallest building in Sacramento and the Central Valley has been completed, says the general contractor, Rudolph and Sletten, of Redwood City, a subsidiary of Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC).

Rudolph and Sletten, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), announced today the completion of the Bank of the West Tower at 500 Capitol Mall in Sacramento, California. The Ed Kado-designed, 25-story, high-rise in the heart of Sacramento's business district provides 433,000 square-feet of "Class A" office space with panoramic views of the Sierras, the Sacramento River, Sacramento's skyline and the Capitol Rotunda. At 396 feet, the building is the third tallest in the State's capital.

McDonough Holland & Allen PC moves to 500 Capitol Mall in Sacramento, effective today, after more than 35 years at 555 Capitol Mall. McDonough was the first law firm to secure a lease, more than one year ago, with 500 Capitol Mall, a 25-story high-rise office building in Sacramento’s downtown core. The 172 employees in the firm's Sacramento office are occupying 67,500 square feet of space for a 15-year lease term.

Downey Brand LLP started it and is the first to move. This weekend, Sacramento’s largest law firm will pack up possessions collected over 35 years at 555 Capitol Mall and move to fancy new digs at 621, the 25-story U.S. Bank Tower across the street.

McDonough Holland & Allen PC signed a lease Monday for a new headquarters in the 25-story 500 Capitol Mall, ending months of speculation about a move from its current office across the street.

Five Hundred Capitol Mall is a 25-story, 430,000 square foot elegantly appointed office tower currently under construction in Downtown Sacramento. The building is scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2009.

After six months of demolition, site preparation, and basement construction, structural steel crews will be arriving at 500 Capitol Mall. Crews from Gayle Manufacturing in Woodland, CA will be on site on November 5th.
