McDonough LOI Press Release

Sacramento, CA – Tsakopoulos Investments and McDonough Holland & Allen, PC, Attorneys at Law, jointly announce that they have signed a Letter of Intent to relocate the law firm to 500 Capitol Mall. Five Hundred Capitol Mall is a 25-story, 430,000 square foot elegantly appointed office tower currently under construction in Downtown Sacramento. The building is scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2009.

The lease is currently being negotiated and will be signed in the near future. The leased premises will consist of between 65,000 to 80,000 rentable square feet. McDonough Holland & Allen will be occupying space located on the 16th through 19th floors.

McDonough Holland & Allen is the second largest law firm in Sacramento and has over 100 attorneys in three (3) offices. Established in 1953, the McDonough firm client base ranges from real estate and construction companies to health care and public entities throughout California.

The development entity, 500 Capitol Mall Tower, LLC, is comprised of George and Drosoula Tsakopoulos and son, Angelo G. Tsakopoulos, who is acting as overall project manager. Tsakopoulos Investments has several holdings in office, retail, and land properties in the region. Principal George Tsakopoulos has been an active investor and developer in Sacramento for over fifty years.

500 Capitol Mall was designed by noted local architect, Ed Kado, of E.M. Kado and Associates, AIA. The project is being built by Rudolph and Sletten Construction.

The Lease was brokered by Greg Levi, of CB Richard Ellis, representing the Landlord and Bill Swettenham and Steve Bay, also of CB Richard Ellis, representing McDonough Holland & Allen.
