Great thought has been given to the simplest concerns at BMO Tower. Take, for example, glass. It is important to enjoy a natural view, yet also important to use energy responsibly.

Glass

Dual-pane glass manufactured by Viracon has been chosen for use throughout the building.  Viracon produces high-performance windows designed to reduce solar heat gain. The Viracon window also provides one of the most distinct features of BMO Tower: The blue-hue glass.  This unique architectural feature provides soothing tones in the interior, while allowing two-way vision through the glass under varying light conditions.

Elevators

Otis Elevator Company’s Gen2 elevator system sets the standard for elevator performance, efficiency, and comfort.  The Gen2 system reduces energy usage by up to 50 percent compared to conventional elevators. This state-of-the-art system also features regenerative drives contributing to further energy reductions.

Security

Using the latest in video, sensor, and key card identity systems, all building areas are constantly evaluated to assure managed access and safety.  A professional staff is on-site 24-hours a day to assist tenants as well as to review and evaluate all security systems.
